Mid Kent Water appoints DTW Vavasour

DTW Vavasour has been appointed to provide strategic public relations consultancy services to Mid Kent Water.

The agency won the three-year contract, following a European-wide competitive tendering process, to deliver external communications for a public consultation on future water resources for Kent.

Mid Kent Water is currently investigating several options to supply the Mid Kent area and DTW Vavasour will assist the company in facilitating a dialogue with the local public on the various options available. This will include undertaking a detailed stakeholder audit and developing a bespoke communications strategy.

The account win is a significant milestone for DTW Vavasour, which has recently been established as an independent company. The agency has also recently moved to new offices in Ashford.

Robin Treacher, director of DTW Vavasour Ltd commented: "Water is such an essential resource and yet we too often take it for granted that it will always be there. We are delighted to be working with Mid Kent Water as it prepares for public consultation on the new water resource project."
