Adrian Westwood and Daisy Halliday join PR team

Adrian Westwood, former Senior Press Officer at the Environment Agency has joined DTW Vavasour as Senior Account Manager. Daisy Halliday has joined as a new Account Executive.

Adrian has over 15 years’ experience in journalism, media and public relations, events organisation and crisis management in the environment, energy and local government sectors. He returns to Ashford from London where he has been Senior Press Officer at the Environment Agency’s National Press Office for the past two years.

Prior to joining the EA, Adrian worked for Ashford Borough Council, BAA/ McArthur Glen and Hastings Borough Council where he was responsible for corporate PR, public consultations, economic development promotion and community relations. He also has extensive event management experience including international athletics, golf championships, military parades and community, investment and environmental events and conferences.

Daisy Halliday has also recently joined the team from London based Beattie Communications. Previously, she has gained experience working for a PR agency in the West Midlands, where she joined as a graduate trainee from University in October 2006. Undertaking a structured training programme to become an Account Executive, Daisy has experience in providing public relations services to clients such as the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) West Midlands, CEMEX UK and Saint Gobain Abrasives.
